Is Conservative candidate Troy De Sousa bribing voters by promising a Mackenzie overpass like the one that was not needed at the Victoria airport but got one anyway because it was a conservative held riding?

Religious Influence on the election We have heard about the US style electioneering in this election. What is the impact of the candidate's religious views on this election ? (I am thinking of the George W Bush election and the religious impact there) My contention is that Mr Harper has the religious vote in Canada as Mr Bush did in 2000 and 2004 in the USA.

I thought it very interesting that the slide of the Bloc and the upswing for the NDP happened after Duceppe made various statements about the expected strength of the PQ provincially and the strength of the Bloc federally would start a new round separatist action and facilitate independence for Quebec. I wonder if this scared the pants off of folks in Quebec who actually understand how it would change things economically. A loss of 8 Billion per year in equalization coupled with the ongoing uncertainty for outside investment would cripple the Quebec economy for decades if not forever.

Both the Liberals and Conservatives have ruined farm aid and ARE furthering the destruction and abandonment of rural Canada. The Liberals initiated a study/change on a farm program before losing power....and the Conservatives implemented the disasterous formula change to Agri-Stability now !...........There is NO MORE farm aid !!!\ Both parties refuse to put the farmers of Canada on accrual incometax to get the farm losses and to base farm aid on, which would BOTH be green and Gattable according to the World Trade Agreement (WTO)........ I am ashamed and discussed with both these parties !!! Doesn't Rural Canada count any more ?
