I was born and raised in New Brunswick, but moved to Toronto when I finished school for a one-year stint as chief editor of the Canadian University Press's national newswire. Toronto treated me well, and I continue to live here as a freelance reporter and photographer. Prior to moving to Ontario, I reported for the Telegraph-Journal in Saint John, N.B. and was editor-in-chief of the Brunswickan student paper at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton.
