Liam Maloney is a Montreal-born photojournalist specializing in editorial and long-term documentary work.

A regular contributor to Maclean's newsweekly, his work has also been published in newspapers and magazines across North America, from the NY Times to SPIN magazine, and his photo essays have been exhibited internationally. Maloney was a nominee for the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in 2006 and a participant in the Eddie Adams Barnstorm XX in 2007. Currently, Maloney is developing a feature length documentary film examining the lives of refugees in the Levant from a unique perspective.
